You’ll get access to two new exams that are only available for students who attend Boards Bootcamp:
- Pre-Bootcamp Exam = Take this 100-question exam up to 3 weeks before the event. With a clear understanding of your strengths and weaknesses, you’ll be more likely to master the material when we cover it together as a group at a campus near you.
- Post-Bootcamp Exam = Take this 100-question exam after you leave the event to reinforce what you learned.
You’ll have access to both exams for 12 months after the start of the Boards Bootcamp event.

I already have the APEX Student Review Course. Should I attend Boards Bootcamp?
If you want to learn from another perspective, get additional support, interact with your peers, and have the ability to ask questions, then Boards Bootcamp is for you.
We recently updated the Boards Bootcamp curriculum to focus on test-taking strategy and application to many board-type questions layered throughout the course.
Can I attend from home?
No. Boards Bootcamp is an on-campus event. You’ll learn with your peers on site, and our instructors will interact with you through live video conferring. There is no at-home option for this program.
Is this a virtual or in-person event?
You attend in person on campus, while our instructors teach live via Zoom. This setup lets you receive real-time feedback and interact with your peers, without the instructors being physically present.
When should I attend Boards Bootcamp?
Boards Bootcamp layers on to what you’re learning in APEX, so whether you are looking to gain more test-taking strategies, practice questions, or expert advice to help you prepare for the NCE or SEE, the Boards Bootcamp can help you gain the confidence you need to succeed.
We suggest completing the tutorials in our online course at least once before the live event (this is recommended but not required).
How should I prepare for Boards Bootcamp?
Boards Bootcamp does not contain basic review lectures. Instead, you’ll get an interactive curriculum that supplements what you’re learning in APEX.
Here’s how to prepare for your Boards Bootcamp experience:
- Complete the Pre-Bootcamp Exam before attending the live online event at a campus near you.
- Try to get through our online course one time before the live event (this is recommended but not required).
When will I receive the color-printed handouts?
We’ll give you a physical copy of our full-color Boards Bootcamp handouts when you attend the live online event at a campus near you.
We do not provide a digital version of these handouts.
Does Boards Bootcamp include 1:1 tutoring or 1:1 support?
Boards Bootcamp is a group learning experience, so you can ask our expert instructors questions during the live online event at a campus near you.
We don’t offer 1:1 tutoring or 1:1 support outside of the Board Bootcamp.
Can I record any part of Boards Bootcamp?
No! Recording, streaming, or distributing any part of Boards Bootcamp is strictly prohibited.
Anyone who records, streams, or distributes any part of Boards Bootcamp will be immediately dismissed from the event AND their subscription to APEX will be terminated.
There are no refunds (full or partial) if you disregard this policy.
Is food included in the cost of Boards Bootcamp?
The Boards Bootcamp live online events hosted at a campus near you do not include food. You will need to bring food or plan to get food during breaks.
What is your cancelation policy for Boards Bootcamp?
If we are forced to cancel the event due to state restrictions (e.g., COVID), then you will receive a 100% refund for the cost of Boards Bootcamp. We are not responsible for reimbursement for travel or any other expense.
Do you offer a discount on Boards Bootcamp?
We understand that many students live on a tight budget. We’ve done our very best to keep the cost as low as possible by offering these live online events at campuses across the nation.
